business tips podcast monetization Oct 09, 2025
Hey Pod Pals!
This newsletter was lovingly curated (without the use of any AI) in real time on Thursday morning at 8:47am CST.
I've been doing intermittent fasting for the last several days and I'm now writing this email during what I call my "lonely stomach time"....😢
My cold brew coffee is going to power me through this one!
Real quick before we dive into this week's topic.... ⤵️
I'm focused on helping podcasters SOLVE these four specific problems:
1. How to optimize your podcast launch.
2. How to grow your podcast past 1,000 downloads per episode.
3. How to convert more podcast listeners into paying clients.
4. How to simplify your online business so it feels easy, lucrative, and fun.
If you want to explore how we can work together to solve these problems hop on my free Podcast Profit Potential Discovery Call calendar.

This week we are going to address this problem:
🚨 How do I simplify my online business?
What if I told you that I've added ONE simple component to all of my offers this year.....and it has helped me increase my revenue AND get faster/better results for my clients?
Most of you would be very interested in this new space age technology I've discovered....until....I tell you what it is: weekly office hours.
Before you close out this email and yell "BORING!"....give me a chance to explain what I'm doing with my weekly office hours!
First things first...What exactly are office hours?
✔️ For me this is a 60 minute block of time on my weekly calendar.
✔️ There is no set topic like traditional group coaching.
✔️ There is no expectation for me to give a presentation or teach something specific.
✔️ Clients can pop in and get help on whatever they need to work on.
How do I execute an office hours session?
✔️ I have at least one 60 minute time block on my schedule every Friday. I don't think these have to be on Fridays....that is just what works well for my coaching calendar.
✔️ Each session is 60 minutes and I evenly divide the time between the participants that show up. Example: If six people show up they each get ten minutes.
✔️ This next step is IMPORTANT: I set a timer on the screen (I use ZOOM) so that I can keep everyone on task and nobody gets more time than someone else.
✔️ I don't allow more than ten people to sign up for a 60 minute time slot. If one office hours block fills up I will simply add another one to the calendar.
✔️ The first person to show up gets the first block of time and we continue in the order that people show up for the session.
How are office hours incorporated into my offers?
This is my FAVORITE thing about office hours: Clients from every part of my ecosystem have access.
This means that people from all of my coaching options and even my certification program are in there mingling and working together. It almost feels like a mini mastermind session.
This fits very much with my Minimum Effective Dose Business strategy. I have ONE resource that I'm able to use in LOTS of different ways.....but only requires me to be available for one (maybe two) hours per week.
Here are a few other creative ways that you can use Office Hours:
➡️ 1. Sometimes I get questions via email or DM's on social that are easier to answer if we are on a video chat together. I will send these people my office hours link (even though they aren't clients). I've had several of these people become clients!
➡️ 2. I do frequent check ins with people that I consider to be great potential clients (aka....LEADS). If it makes sense I will invite them to come to office hours to get some extra (free) help. The more touch points I can get the better!
➡️ 3. You can also use office hours as a bonus offer during a discovery call. Let's say you have someone that is interested in your online course but they want some support from you. You can add in a month of office hours access and close the deal!
➡️ 4. Office hours could also be used as a stand alone offer. This might be a great fit for someone that has a tight budget but needs some support from you. This would also work as a "graduation" offer for people that have completed another program and want some continuing support.
How are office hours impacting my client results?
Now THIS is the most important question Pod Pals! By providing more access to me (and a greater level of accountability) my clients have greatly increased their speed to their desired result.
For example, last week I was able to help a coaching client completely rebrand and relaunch his show within a 5 day period. This would normally take at least two weeks.
My clients love knowing that they don't have to wait until their next scheduled 1:1 or group coaching session to get support.
So....what does this look like for you and your business?
Here is what I would suggest:
👉 Don't overcomplicate this! Just add a 60 minute block of time on your calendar for next week.
Send your clients an email and tell them that you are trying something new AND it will be included with their current program at no extra cost to them.
Try and figure out what day works best for you and your clients. I like Friday because I do all of my 1:1 and group coaching on Tues/Weds.
This allows us to put in the foundational work earlier in the week, and then follow up during office hours later in the week for continued support.
Let's wrap this up ⤵️
Two things that will make you stand out (and help you get more clients) are:
🏆 Accessibility to you for accountability/support.
🏆 Increased speed to the desired result.
I believe that adding office hours to your business ecosystem will help you check both of these boxes!
If YOU would benefit from some extra accountability/support so that you can solve problems like we discussed here today....let's talk about how we can work together and get the job done!

🤩 Client Testimonial of the week: My client Holly Silva has a show called Business Strategies for Professionals and Small Business Owners.
Check out what she has to say about working with me:
"I hired Adam because I decided to do a complete rebrand and refocus of my podcast. Not only does Adam provide fantastic practical guidance on rebranding and SEO, but as I need it, he also provides guidance step by step so as to not overwhelm me with the process."
