⭐️ This week we are going to talk about evergreen monetization strategies.
When I started my first podcast in 2015 I most definitely had the intent to monetize by selling programs online. I also knew that I had to learn this whole concept of building funnels which would give me the ability to walk my audience down a path from adding value for free to them wanting to buy a program or service from me.
Now it took me the better part of THREE YEARS to figure all of this funnel stuff out to the point where I could make any money at all. So I wanted to use our time together today to give you a few benchmarks to develop and shoot for as you try to create a business system that results in evergreen funnel money.
Here are four necessary components for evergreen monetization success:
✅1. You have to pinpoint a key pain point of your audience. Everything else builds off of this so we have to put in work to figure this part out. I did this by actually talking to people that represented my ideal customers.
✅ 2. You need a free lead magnet offer that starts to address and solve the pain point from the previous step. This could be a downloadable checklist, a webinar, a free challenge, or a limited series podcast.
✅ 3. You need to have an automated system of extended communication that helps the potential client start to build momentum. Most funnels use an email series to do this. I like to pair an email series along with my limited series podcast audio for even better results.
✅ 4. You need a "no brainer" start anytime offer that they can purchase at a price point that the buyer is comfortable with and that will allow them to continue their journey towards solving the major pain point from step one above.
So if you are a funnel building newbie that wants to put the word FUN back into your funnel....use the benchmarks above to make sure you are setting yourself up for success!
