This week we are going to discuss how I am able to get so many clients without being super salesy!

I had an experience early on in 2025 that changed my perspective on the topic of sales/selling.

I was introduced to an individual that seemed to have a solution to a problem that I wanted to solve. Their program was $12,000 and I bought it.

Once I started digging into the program materials and attending the coaching sessions I quickly realized that this was not going to provide the solution that I was after.

When I quietly started to fade out of the program I was contacted by the coach and they tried to UPSELL me to a $50,000 program....because that is what I actually needed (in their opinion).....

What I realized was that this person was just REALLY great at selling....and not so great at DELIVERING results.

I've never considered myself to be great at selling, and this experience really motivated me to become the polar opposite of this person.

This is what inspired me to focus less on selling and more on what I call: problem solving awareness.

If you want to be a little (or a lot) less salesy in 2026 here are a few action steps to help you elevate your problem solving awareness.

✅ 1) Identify what problems you actually solve for your clients and the people who consume your content.

Here are the four problems that I solve for my Pod Pals (you):

🎯 How do I optimize my podcast launch?

🎯 How do I get my podcast over 1,000 downloads per episode?

🎯 How do I convert more podcast listeners into paying clients?

🎯 How can I simplify my online business so it feels easy, lucrative, and fun?

✅ 2) Go back and review your list and make sure these are PROBLEMS and not the frameworks you use to solve problems for your audience.

This is a common mistake I see my clients making when we are working through this process together.

Example: My Perfect Podcast Naming Formula is the framework I use to help my clients solve the problem of: How do I optimize my podcast launch?

✅ 3) Use your podcast content to elevate your problem solving awareness.

In your podcast intro you should mention the topic of the episode and which problem this topic will help your audience solve.

Then with your outro CTA (call to action) mention a service that your audience can purchase from you to help them solve this problem FASTER.

👉 Example: Let's say that I'm doing an episode of Podcasting Business School called How to leverage SEO to double your podcast downloads.

In my intro I will say something like: "I know that one of the biggest problems that most of you are struggle with is podcast GROWTH and today we are going to unpack an SEO strategy that is going to help you double your downloads!"

In my outro I will say something like: "I hope that you gained some momentum and got some new ideas from this episode. If you want to move a little bit faster, and get some help from me,  check out the link in the show notes for my Podcast Growth Bootcamp Course + Coaching program."

✅ 4) Use your podcast content to elevate your problem solving awareness.

This is basically the same process as the podcast template above.

Kick off your newsletter by relating the topic with the core problem that you are going to help them solve.

End things with a CTA that will help them solve this problem faster. Keep in mind that this doesn't have to be to an offer. I often use a Discovery Call CTA.

✅ 5) Use your social media content to elevate your problem solving awareness.

I use this simple template about 3-5 times per week on social media: I love helping (X) solve the problem of (Y). Here's a quick tip (Z)

👉 Example: I love helping podcasters turn listeners into clients. Here's a quick tip: Ditch your normal podcast intro and replace it with a 60 second client testimonial audio clip.

✅ 6) Use your website to elevate your problem solving awareness.

Within the first 10 seconds of being on your website I want to understand what problems you can solve for me.

I do this with a 4 minute video at the top of my ultra simple homepage. Feel free to use this as a template.

🏁 Since I've put all of my energy into leveling up my problem solving awareness with my content, I've experienced some amazing results like:

    🏆 I don't stress out about SELLING!

🏆 I'm attracting ideal fit clients passively with my content.

I hope this strategy helps you make a bunch of SALES in 2026 without being super salesy!
