    Hey Pod Pals!

This newsletter was lovingly curated (without the use of any AI) in real time on Thursday morning at 8:11am CST.

I'm getting at this newsletter a bit earlier than normal today because my daughter has her last day of elementary school and I'm going to block off most of the day to sit and cry like a big baby....😢

I do feel a lot of pride that I've successfully parented both of my kids through the elementary school stage of life!

One quick thing before we dive in today:

I'm BETA testing a new offer and I'm enrolling participants through June 7th.

This new 1:1 coaching offer is ideal for anyone that wants to work directly with me to either develop a new offer or optimize a current offer and then put together a content campaign to effectively sell it to your audience.

This week we are going to talk about: How to avoid a summer sales slump.

In my 11 years of trying to figure out how to be an online entrepreneur I've made some enormous mistakes when it comes to the timing of trying to launch something new.

I'm world famous for trying to launch new offers on:

    -Election day 2016

    -Christmas Eve

    -4th of July weekend

Eventually I figured out that I actually need to pay really close attention to the yearly calendar and think about what YOU, my ideal potential clients, are doing during any specific time of the year.

So today I wanted to share what I've learned about what types of offers sell well (and which ones don't) during specific times of the year.

First let's highlight the EASIEST months of the year to sell pretty much any type of an offer.

    💰 January through May

    💰 September through mid November

These two timeframes have proven to be excellent times to launch a new offer or launch an offer campaign and sell pretty much any type of an offer to your audience.

This is because these timeframes have very few pattern disruptions (holidays, travel, school, etc)

Now let's dig into the typical Sales Slump Seasons.

    📉 June through August

    📉 Mid November through December

These are more difficult timeframes to launch/sell offers because there are LOTS of pattern disruptions (holidays, travel, school).

BUT...I have cracked the code a bit with certain types of offers that do actually sell well during these timeframes.

Here are a couple of Pro Tips:

➡️ Focus more on 1:1 coaching offers during these timeframes.

People tend to be more attracted to these offers in general and they are more likely to purchase them no matter what time of the year it is.

➡️ Allow for flexibility with the 1:1 coaching start dates.

For example with my new BETA group offer you can purchase the package now and you just need to start anytime before July 31st.

This flexibility allows your clients to fit the program into their non-typical schedule with all the pattern disruptions that occur during these timeframes.

➡️ Avoid group programs with rigid start/stop dates.

If people are gone on vacation for even ONE day of the program they won't sign up.

Now let's consider your specific NICHE....

This is where things get really interesting because many of us have huge opportunities to make sales during the typical "sales slump" timeframes.

Let's look at a few examples:

✅ 1. When I had my weightloss podcast my top offer was a Holiday Season Survival coaching package which ran from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

✅ 2. I have a client in the sobriety niche whose top offer is a coaching program that runs through the summer months.....because those are a HUGE danger zone for her clients and they need extra support.

✅ 3. A past client of mine was in the parenting niche and her best sales months were July/August when parents were prepping for Back To School!

Think about your specific niche and ask yourself the question:

Are there certain timeframes during the year where my people need extra support?

If all of this strategic talk is making sense and you feel like you could benefit from tagging me in for some help, I hope you consider looking into joining my BETA group.

I've got 8 spots left for the $500 1:1 BETA group.

I will help you decide which offer to sell (or create a new one) and then we will look at the upcoming calendar and map out a fully optimized content campaign.

You can grab one of the BETA spots now and then you can pick a start date between now and July 31st.
