    Hey Pod Pals!

This newsletter was lovingly curated (without the use of any AI) in real time on Thursday morning at 9:48am CST.

I've had a busy morning already!

The kids are fed and off to school and I've had a nice morning walk.

The caffeine from my cold brew coffee is doing it's thing so let's take advantage and dive in!

Real quick...I'm working on a new workshop idea.. ⤵️

I'm creating a new workshop that I plan to launch this spring and I'd love to get your input so I can build the virtual workshop that you would love to attend.

If you are interested in turning your podcast CONTENT into new CLIENTS please take a minute and fill out this anonymous Google form survey for me.....THANKS!

This week we are going to dive into my most favorite of all the things I get to help podcasters with:

How to turn your CONTENT into new CLIENTS.

If I can do a quick humble brag....I feel like I've really got this Content To Clients strategy thing figured out.

In 2015 I launched a weight loss niche podcast.

I grew that show to 500,000+ downloads and I used it to sell things like:

    💰1:1 coaching

    💰Membership

    💰Online Courses.

I launched Podcasting Business School in late 2018.

I've grown this show to just under 700,000 downloads so far.

I'm using it to sell things like:

    💰1:1 coaching/consulting

    💰Group Coaching

💰Online Course + Office Hours programs.

Here are three of my favorite content strategies that help me get clients from my podcast:

🎯 Strategy One: My 2/3 Content Rule for Expert Positioning.

This strategy ensures that YOU are going to be the expert on your own show.

If you primarily do interview based episodes your audience will view you as the person that interviews the experts.....not as THE expert.

    Let that soak in!

I recommend that (at least) 2/3 of your episodes are either solo episodes or coaching episodes.

🎯 Strategy Two: Start doing coaching episodes.

I've released hundreds of coaching episodes on Podcasting Business School (including my latest episode!)

For those of you that are new to my world I define a coaching episode as:

➡️ A podcast episode where you bring an audience member onto your show and coach them for FREE (but you treat them as if they are a paying client...aka....no gatekeeping!)

Coaching episodes help podcasters in two specific ways:

✔️1. Many of the non-clients that do this episode with you will become interested in becoming clients.

This is a great "try before you buy" sales scenario.

✔️2. These episodes are the BEST form of expert positioning content.

Your audience members get to be a fly on the wall as you coach someone in real time!

I have so many clients that mention that they've heard me coach people dozens of times and they knew they wanted to work with ME because of this experience.

🎯 Strategy Three: Swap out your boring song and dance podcast intro with a client testimonial audio clip.

HOT TAKE: Nobody is listening to your podcast intro.

So why not experiment and switch it up a bit?

I bet if you start collecting 60 second client testimonial audio clips and using those as the FIRST thing your audience hears....you will notice an uptick in your sales.

So few podcasters are using this strategy (mostly just my group coaching clients....LOL!)...and that's a shame because it works so well!

Your audience won't see this as an ad, but it helps you achieve the same thing that an ad is supposed to do:

✔️ Position you as an expert.

✔️ Prove that you can produce results.

✔️ Create awareness for an offer that you sell.

If you like these ideas you are going to LOVE the workshop I'm cooking up for later this spring.

➡️ I could use your quick input to help me build my Podcast Content To Clients Workshop....Thanks in advance!

🤩 Client Testimonial of the week: My client Nicole Pertillar has a show called Holistic Mental Health for Solopreneurs.

Check out what she has to say about being in my Group Coaching program:

"I hired Adam because I needed help with taking my podcast from being a hobby to a true BUSINESS strategy.

By working with Adam I've been able to rebrand and reposition my podcast for greater visibility as well as develop a beta membership group that already has 15 members!

The best part about working with Adam has been the quick WINS and the simple way he explains exactly what I need to do next."
