business tips podcast content ideas podcast monetization Dec 06, 2023
⭐️ This week we are looking ahead to 2024 and setting our sights on getting more clients.
In my super biased opinion, podcasts are the ultimate secret weapon for service providers that want to get more ideal fit dream clients.
I feel like the key to making this work correctly is making sure that you feature yourself as THE EXPERT on your own podcast.....also known as....Expert Positioning.
By positioning yourself as the expert it allows your listeners to binge listen to your content and learn from you for free. Each exposure point (episode) builds your credibility with them and that leads to new client conversions.
Here are THREE focus points for 2024 that will help you ramp up your expert positioning and get more clients:
✅ 1. Decrease the amount of interviews you do and replace them with solo episodes. Solo episodes allow you to really show off what you do. It's like being able to do a TED Talk with your audience every week.
If you struggle with getting ideas for solo episodes I suggest keeping an Idea Bank file where you can drop ideas as they come to you.
✅ 2. Start doing coaching style episodes. These allow your audience to see how you coach people and they will start to envision themselves being your client and how you can help them.
Embrace your ability to think on your feet and have a dynamic coaching session on your show!
✅ 3. Start adding client testimonial audio to your podcast. There may be no better way to position yourself as an expert than to share audio from your happy clients. You cannot argue with results!
I'm always surprised at how few people share testimonials. So if you want to really stand out in your niche start using this strategy! I like to add them to the very beginning of an episode. See my Tuesday episodes of Podcasting Business School for examples.
If you want to dive deeper into these three strategies and position yourself as an expert in 2024 this week's episode is for you!

🤩 Client testimonial of the week: My client Dr Katrin Jahn has an awesome podcast called The Pet Behaviour Chat podcast.
Check out what she has to say about working with me:
"I hired Adam because even though I knew I really wanted to start a podcast, I had no idea how to go about it. By working with Adam, we've been able to plan out and coordinate our podcast launch really easily and effectively. And four days after the launch of our podcast, it was ranked number three in our category on Apple Podcasts. Thank you so much Adam!"
