βοΈ This week we are continuing our content series on how to make meaningful income with a podcast at the center of your brand.
Last week we talked about a game plan to get to $5,000 per month. This week we are going BIGGER with a goal of $100,000 per year.....that magical SIX FIGURES mark!
Now here's the big mistake that most people will make when they are shooting for this type of a goal: We think we need to add more offers.
Not so fast Pod Pals!
I believe that there are two simple adjustments that we can make in order to take us to our six figure income goal....without adding any new offers.
β Strategy #1: Increase your signature offer price from $1,500 to $2,500. In last week's $5,000/month strategy we talked about having a signature offer in the $1,500 price range with a goal of signing up two new clients per month.
To level up our income we want to steadily increase the price up to that $2,500 range. When I did this I used a strategy where I would increase my price by $250-$500 with every 3-5 sales I made.
Closing the same two clients per month at the new price gets us to $5,000 per month just from the signature offer.
β Strategy #2: Keep building what is already working instead of adding a new offer. In our example from last week we had a goal of charging $97/month for a membership with 20 members in our community.
Instead of spending time building out something totally new we want to double down on our membership and add 15 more members for a total of 35 members paying $97/month.
So with these two simple strategies we will bring in $60,000 per year with our signature offer and $40,000 per year with the membership to hit that six figure goal.
If I were doing this personally I would focus on a discovery call CTA across your brand and especially on your podcast. As you do discovery calls you decide which offer is the best starting place (signature offer or the membership) and put in the work to hit the new monthly sales goals.
I want to wrap up this segment of the newsletter with a reminder that these strategies are simple but these results will not come easily. You are going to have to put in work to continue to get more clients (and keep your existing members in your membership offer).
