When I started my first podcast back in 2015 my main goal was to just feel heard......plain and simple. I feel like this is at the root of our motivation as podcasters during our entire podcasting journey.
We want to create content that we find to be interesting and we hope that the right people are able to find that content and connect with it.....and maybe every once in a while they send you a DM, email, or a 5 star rating and review to let you know they enjoy your show.
We all have a different tolerance level of how much work we will put into podcasting before we will quit if we feel like we aren't being heard by enough people. So today I wanted to give you two strategies that will work to help you get your podcast in front of more listeners.
✅ Strategy #1: Use my 72 Hour Podcast Marketing Window strategy. One of the HUGE audience growth problems that most podcasters have is that they spend a lot of time creating content and almost zero time marketing that content once it goes live.
We have to let people know about our awesome content!
So if you choose to use my 72 Hour Podcast Marketing Window strategy this is what you will start doing: Within the first 72 hours when a new episode goes live you will market that episode with FIVE unique assets like carousel posts, IG Reels/TikTok videos, email blasts, livestreams, etc.

✅ Strategy #2: Invest in some paid ads. A lot of podcasters will spend $500 on a microphone without blinking an eye, but they won't spend $200 on an ad to ramp up their audience growth. If this is you....listen up!
There are two lanes that we can operate in effectively with paid ads and I've got a couple of episodes that will help you figure out which strategy is best for you.
